Become Unmovable, Unshakeable

Looking at the world around us, everything is chaos and there is no peace to be found.  Divisiveness is everywhere. Wars and rumors of war is the world landscape. Even though peace cannot be found in the world, it can be found within, in the foundation of your being.  Build a foundation so strong, so cemented in the Love of God and the love of neighbor that you become unmovable, unshakeable to the world around. So that when chaos touches your world which it does from time to time, … [Read more...]

Greet The Day

Waking up in the morning as soon as my feet hit the floor, I love to extend my arms exposing my heart. And greet the day with a pray to the Uncreated God. I love this time of the day; it is a new day, a new hopeful beginning. Sometimes I do it even when I don’t feel like it, and when I do, it makes always me feel better.  And it sets the tone for my day. Just Breathe The following exercise comes from Theresa of Avila, one of the preservers of imagery from the fifteenth century. Being … [Read more...]

Planting Your Seeds

Call On 911

An Important Key To Healing

An important key to healing is forgiveness.  Giving pardon to others who have caused you harm is the first step in healing.  Holding onto unforgiveness in your heart maintains a negative tie with that person even if you are justified with your anger. It causes a heaviness and weight in your hearts. Releasing the Hurts When you are holding a negative feeling in your heart about someone, it actually does nothing to him or to her.  But it does make it harder for you because you will continue to … [Read more...]

The Power Of Joy

Joy is a feeling and it is a power that is not dependent on anything outside of us. We all have the misconception that emotions and feelings are the same and generally when speaking about them we use these words interchangeably. Emotions Are Fleeting Actually emotions are fleeting, temporary.  Their movement is out and they are based on our reactions to outside triggers.  They move like clouds that block the sun. Their nature is ephemeral, wispy, but begging for our attention. … [Read more...]
